July 31 Laina 4.5 weeks old

Grandma spent the day w/ erik at Baden's baseball game.  Then erik took a nap and she got some baby time.


Here is Laina's 'kennel'.  It protects her from Leah. 


Laina has a goofy eye intermittantly.  This picture shows it really goofy.

 

Laina is having more awake time.  We got out the boppy and a few toys.  Laina can only lay unprotected when Leah is either asleep or in the high chair.

 

Home made corned beef hash!

So this is my homemade corned beef hash. Lisa couldn't stick around bc she had to go garage saleing so I eat with Leah. She has marshmallow maties!

Erik wore his Royal Guard jam jams.  this is the morning, he had the pants on last night.


This is after Church today. 

This is the look we got from Laina- right before a big *wink*!

Erik told us that he was 'fishing'.


The miracle about this picture is 2 things: 1.) you can see the floor, and 2.) Baby Laina in the doll stroller kept her eyes open for the picture!

July 17-18, 2013

ERIK - written in ez cheese.


Feeling guilty that Leah has no 'girl' toys.  Went to savers and bought her 2 purses.  I almost got her some my little ponies.  It was a weaker moment and it did pass.

I was getting Leah up from her nap, I come to the living room and Erik got the cookie tupperware down and was having a snack...


We had visitors- friend Annamarie and her daughter Aubrey.


Laina is gaining weight.  We estimate the weight at ~9 lbs something.  Was hard to gauge w/ her moving.


I got spit on.... is this a record?  Laina spits infrequently, and is difficult to burp.  This reinforced how important it is to get a burp out of her.
