Erik's FIrst Haircut

I gave Erik a haircut yesterday morning. I was just sick of looking at all that hair hang over his hears. So, while Erik was playing with his toys, I trimmed his neck and above his ears. I trimmed off the cute long pieces on top and also trimmed the sticky up part. Maybe it will stick up more!! The picture doesn't show it very well but I have a comb on one hand and a scissors in the other.

Grandma Grandpa Olson

Grandpa and Grandpa Olson got Erik this super cute fleece outfit! Fleece zip up top and fleecy pants. If you are wondering why I am wearing rubber gloves- I was about to go wash the floors. But I needed to get a picture of Erik in the outfit before he went with Luke to go take a bath.

Erik ate Mango in his little teether food thing. He liked the juice and emptied out the net food holder TWICE! And that was just after he ate corn, potatoes, yogurt, pears and a bite or two of chicken! Can you believe it!?! Grandma says that as soon as Erik starts eating more he is going to grow and grow!!!

Erik likes to sleep on his stomach or his side these days. Thought this was cute. He is almost NEVER under the covers.


Erik got this reindeer hat from John and Amy for Christmas. CUTE!

Erik is chewing on a conductor that came with a train set. We are trying to go without his pacifier. He found an alternate. Someone should teach him to suck his thumb! And yes, that is a spit string. We'll need new carpet before too long. Hmmm.


Erik is modeling new Jam Jams from Tante Katie. I like furry animals. No, Erik is not standing on his own. I am holding his hand. He LOVES his activity station.

Milestone Monday!!

On monday Erik started to master his skills at going from his belly to sitting upright onto his butt! He also started to crawl, though you can't call it a crawl just yet. But he is on his belly, and he does move forward, slow but sure. So he is now mobile! 

This is what I was greeted to after naptime! Someone is being naughty!

Erik crawled/rolled under the jumparoo and sat himself up to play w/ a new toy
