July 14 and 15
Auntie Amy, Ava and Annika came to visit!
So did Grandparents Olson!
Laina with some 'mickeys'
On Monday we took a day trip to Lark's Toys in Kellog. They had some outdoor things for photo ops.
Its a toy store, museum and wooden hand carved carousel .
Leah rode the rabbit. She picked it out herself.
We ate dinner at Larks too. Hambuger for me, Gyro for Luke, a ham and cheese panini for Erik and Leah. Laina had some milk and then had a pee and poop accident through her clothes.
We didn't bring a change of clothes for her. So this is how she had to leave the toy store. I was glad we brought an extra swaddle blanket too.

Laina is now 2 weeks old.
This is our John Hardey's redo. Smoked pork, home fried jo jos, coleslaw and beans. MMmmm
Thanks Tante for the bunny onesie.
Laina's belly button scab fell off this week. This is her first tub bath.
Got a pink old navy cap at a garage sale...
Happy birthday to mee. This is my cake- from Daube's- Italian Creme Cake- decorated w/ my favorite- poppies.
Since we had the fryer out, luke made SCOTCH eggs! Jealous??? They were FANTASTIC.
Leah's first attempt at coloring. She was super fussy and needed to do something.

Erik woke up early (0730) and it was my turn to sit up w/ him. We watched cartoons until the rest of the fam woke up. I almost caught a few zzzs during the cartoons. You can see that Mama is a favorite place to be at 8 in the morning.
We had ice cream cones on the deck.....chocolate as you can clearly see.
That wad of mush is what's left of her ice cream cone. She was allowed to eat it all by herself.

Backyard pool time before lunch
Leah put the sieve on her head all by herself. She saw her brother sporting the same look.
Leah sat in the direct line of the sprinkler and didn't seem to mind it. See corresponding video on next post.
E and L posing at the cucumber frame and lettuce garden.
Laina even came out to make an appearance after sleeping for a few hours in the bouncy chair. This is new grandma Jill outfit...I like the colors for her.
SHARING! THey are SHARING!
Love it!
