My First Bath!

Erik took his first bath today. His umbilical cord fell off on Friday. He needed a bath, we didn't realize how dirty his hair was until it was washed and all fuzzy again. He didn't even cry or get upset during the bath! The pacifier was in the other room, he was so content.



Auntie Amy loved Erik! Annika gave him lots of kisses on the head and petted Erik when he nursed.


Ava helped Erik keep the pacifier in. She didn't change any diapers this week, but she'll get her chance yet!!!


We went to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Olson in Britt. They were happy to see us.


Grandma and Grandpa Olson seem to have the same expression on their faces each time I take their picture. They love babies and love Erik especially as well.


Daddy loves baby. Erik likes our bed better than the bassinet. Let's hope we use that information only for emergencies...


It was nice to get out of the house and out of our newly established routines. Luke starts his job on Wed. Then we'll find out what his schedule will be and how much he'll be home with us.

Erik is doing better with nursing. He is needing less supplementation with bottle these last few days. We'll have to weigh him in the USPS box and kitchen scale again when we get home.
