Anomaly: Erik has this dark purple bruise/pocket on his gum where a tooth has not erupted. Luke and I took this picture to email to our doctor. We did a quick search online for toddler black gums and found out that sometimes they get a blood pocket before the tooth erupts. We figured it had to be normal, but it was so dark...the picture doesn't nearly do the coloring justice.
