Mish Mash Pictures

I love it when Erik is all tucked into bed and lays still. He has his 3 mickey blankies and pacifier, 2o additional smaller blankies and his crib duvet blanket.

Erik brought Ryan some books to read after dinner.

Luke fed the goats the GOOD grass by the bison field. The devoured it with a special ferocity.

Sept 19

I don't know how Erik got this circle red mark in the center of his forehead, but it was gone by the next morning.

Anomaly: Erik has this dark purple bruise/pocket on his gum where a tooth has not erupted. Luke and I took this picture to email to our doctor. We did a quick search online for toddler black gums and found out that sometimes they get a blood pocket before the tooth erupts. We figured it had to be normal, but it was so dark...the picture doesn't nearly do the coloring justice.

Harvest/Garden clean up

16 months old

Erik was being awfully quiet in his room, so I went to check on him. This is where I found him. He drug his chair out of the closet and sat in it! He was unable to get out of it by himself.




This is a Toupe picture. It looks really nice on him---huh?


Luke made Apple pie when Erik was sleeping. This is Erik sampling the pie while Luke was making dinner. Erik could hardly wait for dessert. He ate a full dinner and then a 1/2 piece of deep dish pie. Erik was FULL that night.


Can't I have one piece before dinner?


Erik likes reading more now. He will bring books and climb into our laps. He will even lean back on us to read the book. He'd only started these habits within the last week or so.

Labor Day weekend

I didn't take many pictures this weekend. None at the draft horse show. But Here are 3 we took at the parade. It was cold. Erik had on a fleece vest and t shirt under this heavy fleece jacket.

Sept 1

Erik went swimming, had a haircut and then a bath.




Look how FULL his belly is! He had 2 halves of a "english muffin" pizza, green beans, peaches, mandarin oranges, 4-6 ounces of milky. What a tubby baby.
