Kaiser, What a (pretty) good dog. Kaiser knows several commands now. Sit, lay down, up- to jump for a treat, off (your leg), he knows how to wait for permission to jump up on your lap, and stay. He is practicing turning in a circle for a treat and we are working on staying quiet with the doorbel or knocking.
Luke and I had steaks last night, Kaiser came out with us to have a beer and sit in the warm outside. He has a tie up outside and he doesn't really know what to think of it yet, he doesn't like to go down the stairs by himself, but he is getting used to it. I long for the day when I can just hook him up, let him do his business and wait by the door when he's ready. 
I think Kaiser may be protective. I was on the couch waiting for Luke to come down and watch a movie with us and Kaiser barked at Luke as he came down the stairs. That is the first time he's barked at one of us. His barks are short and usually just 2 or 3 barks. Luke took him out for his final pee of the night and our neighbor Erin was sitting outside, he let her pet him and he barked twice for like no reason. Like in hindsight to look tough or something.
Kaiser slept by choice in our bedroom last night. He did not sleep in the bed either. He slept on a tossed aside blanket next to the rabbits.
